RazorCandi is loving the alien

By Jim Phoenix on September 24, 2016

RazorCandi seems to set me up for some great Bowie nods. In this Alien inspired theme shoot, she draws on the legend of H.R. Giger in taking her inspiration. I love Alien. It scared me enough as a kid to have me sleep with my hand over my face (no, I didn’t think that would mimic the hugger feel, thank you very much, Gavin!). So to see this take, a rather erotic take, is something of an intrigue for me.

RazorCandi states that she drew inspiration from Giger, and that much is evident (it’s in the facial features and choices of shadow/colour), but there is also something a bit tribal here. I’m not sure if she was conscious of this, but the blue neck piece is rather Kayan (sneezy Bhutan). Of course, I might just be chasing a windmill here, and it’s just my imagination running away with me.

All song quotes aside, the central focus of this shoot is her toys. Yes, Toys–plural. The blue meanie and a rather weird blue squiggly are the ones that draw my attention (and her affection) here. There is a great picture of her leaning backwards swallowing a bit of one, but I can’t show it (even with the ILD stamp!). It simply reveals too much. The only way to see that one is to visit her website. Oh, did I mention that Razor Candi has a Kickstarter and for a nominal donation you can snag her book — and — entry into her website? Go ahead and check it out. Until then, bask in the beauty that is Razor Candi’s Diamon

Dog pose (and a few other choice shots).

ALIENATED

I’ve always been very interested in the collaboration of art meets erotica but sadly most adult toys and props are generally just realistic or very simple which makes them kind of boring in my opinion unless I am going for something like simplicity, so when I laid eyes on these horror themed adult toys my mind jumped into all kinds of creative and deeply erotic, artistic ideas. I’m very lucky to have a very special and loyal sponsor who has provided the means for me to get my hands on all 5 toys and now I give you the second of my five set Creatures of the Night series – The Alien which is clearly inspired by the amazing H.R. Giger!
