Mistress Zelda Interview

By I Love The Devil on August 5, 2016

Mistress Zelda has pretty much the dream life. By day, she works in video games, while, by night, she models for all sorts of cool photographers. And, in her spare time, she does reenactment and post apocalyptic props and costumes. Life doesn’t get much better than that! You can find her sexy cosplay on BlueBlood.com (most notably EroticFandom) and on CosplayDeviants.

How long have you been a model?

I’ve been modeling since 2009 and cosplaying since 2002

How did you choose your model name?

I was dating a guy that I met off Craigslist of all places back in 2005 or so – his friends thought I was a huge nerd (they were all horror punk types) and refused to call me by my real name for about a year of us dating – they called me Zelda because of my several Zelda tattoos. They meant it as an insult, but I decided to reclaim it and make it my modeling name. I got into modeling through cosplay and my first shoot ever was for Cosplay Deviants. I only went by Zelda back then, and added the Mistress on later to make me more searchable. If I had it to do over again and known how heavily I would get into modeling, I would have gone with Discordia Dystopia – Deedee for short!

So you’re a fetish model, what else do you do? Act? Play Music? Are you a spy?

I am a video game producer in my day job, a medieval re-enactor and armored combatant, post-apocalyptic pre-enactor, costumer, propmaker. I’m also currently working on building a post-apocalyptic car.

What was the craziest thing you ever had to do while playing truth or dare?

I haven’t played in over a decade – sounds like something I should revisit as an adult.

Have you ever seen the sun?

I’ve seen him, but we try to avoid each other as much as possible.

Favorite music/band?

My music tastes are varied, but I have a soft spot for melancholy, dissonance, hyperactivity, complexity, brutality, minimalism, homebrew instruments, folk instruments, world music fusion, and the bizarre. I can most often be found listening to metal and it’s many subgenres – doom, black, avant garde, folk, post-metal, djent, as well as neofolk, world and Scandinavian folk, flamenco, chiptunes, dark folk, breakcre, noise, blackjazz, dark ambient, video game and film OST, drone, zeuhl, electrofolk, glitch, gothic, industrial, electro swing, martial industrial, neoclassical darkwave, psytrance, indie hip hop, horror punk, nostalgia from the 90s and circus/carnival inspired tunes. Although my favorite band is Katatonia 🙂

Favorite movie?

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: Secret of the Ooze

Favorite food?

I love any ethnic food and cook a great deal, but my favorite is Indian.

Turn Ons?

Guys with long hair and girls with hawks, androgyny, masculine men in feminine attire, men in pigtails, costumes, dominating submissive men and being dominated by dominant men, rope suspension, device bondage, predicament bondage, forced orgasm, orgasm denial, MMF, DP and GB, intelligence, confidence, silliness, success and motivation.

Turn Offs?

Laziness, poor hygiene, clinginess, willfull ignorance, racism, sexism, dependency, and a lack of style.

So, What’s your sign baby?

Pisces

Do you have a Boyfriend/Girlfriend?

I’m happily married 🙂

Drink of Choice?

I’m a beer drinker nowadays.

Do you own a gun?

Not personally, although my husband is a gunsmith and he owns several – there are about 15 in my house. I certainly own lots of handmade post-apocalyptic and medieval weaponry, although mostly bladed or melee style, as well as thrown and projectile weaponry. I’m certainly comfortable being around and shooting guns – I grew up right outside one of the biggest military bases in the country, so I was exposed to it from a young age.

Have you ever killed anyone?

If so do you eat what you kill? Not to my knowledge, although I came close once before. He would have had it coming, but I wouldn’t have tainted myself with eating his inferior flesh.

Have you ever kicked a nun?

Nah…They stay out of my way and I stay out of theirs. We have an unspoken truce.

Have you ever popped out of a cake?

No, but I’d love to – hook it up!

Have you ever secretly done the robot dance in the mirror when nobody was looking?

Absolutely.

What does the future hold for you?

Ideally, more art and more adventure.

What words of advice would you give to someone just starting out in the fetish modeling scene?

Please trust your instincts. Know your boundaries in advance, and stick to them. Discuss limitations up front, and if someone tries to push you past them, don’t work with them. Be mindful that these photos never go away and that people will judge you for what you do. Know what you are really agreeing to before you start in the industry and how it can affect your life down the line. Just because someone is famous doesn’t mean they aren’t also a creep who will take advantage of newcomers to the scene. You deserve to be paid for your work and the usage of your image. Anyone who promises to make you famous in return for sex is scum. It is ok to bring an escort your first time working with someone, so long as this person stays out of the way and doesn’t impede the flow of the shoot (I recommend bringing a trusted girlfriend over a boyfriend, who might make you feel safe but usually gets in the way of the artistic process). Do what you love. Build strong relationships. Stick to your promises. Treat it as a business, act accordingly. Be professional, reliable, courteous – you can still have fun while doing these things. Also, sometimes the best paying fetish work is the silliest and most fun – superheroes, wrestling, food, balloon, foot. Go for it!

When was the last time you danced with the devil?

I think we are due for another.
